The Collaboration Conundrum
As we step into November, I want to share a message that feels more vital than ever, the power of genuine human collaboration, creativity and the development of original viewpoints in our rapidly evolving world.

We are living in an age where AI and technology are transforming how we work, learn and connect. While these advancements bring tremendous opportunities, they also come with challenges. There is an onslaught of news and social media that can sometimes drown out hope and possibility. But during times of change and uncertainty, our greatest strength lies in our ability to see opportunities where others see obstacles.
BOOK RECOMMENDATION: Shirzad Chamine's bestselling book, "Positive Intelligence"
The key to thriving in this landscape is not just understanding technology, but cultivating our unique voices. It’s about creating spaces for dialogue, exploring new perspectives and daring to think differently. When we collaborate authentically, we unlock collective potential that no AI can replicate. Our human superpower is the ability to bring innovation, empathy and insight to the forefront.
This month for my Forbes column, I had the pleasure of interviewing Amanda Greenberg, founder of Balloon, a groundbreaking collaboration platform that breaks through the noise and group think that usually gets in the way of surfacing the best ideas. This is the perfect representation of how technology is at its best when it's a tool to bring out our human capabilities vs. replace them.
Remember, even amid negative headlines, there are stories of resilience, ingenuity and change. Grab this moment to develop your uniqueness and develop your thinking muscles for spotting opportunities in the midst of chaos.
Let’s choose curiosity over fear, connection over division and creativity over conformity. Together, we can forge a future where our original viewpoints shine brightly and help shape a more hopeful world.
With purpose and optimism,
